TaskBound uses Chrome's temporary access to the active tab when you open it on a supported task page or choose its capture action. It reads the official ClickUp task page for the task ID, title, and link, then stores that task locally with the session.

Keep up to 1,000 newest focus records and export them as a CSV file.
Grant access only to the domains you choose.
Add a domain to your blocklist and Chrome asks for optional access to that site. During focus, TaskBound blocks that domain and its subdomains. Pausing, stopping, taking a break, or finishing the session removes the active rules.
Before you start
- Starting focus reloads already-open tabs on blocked domains so the rule applies; save drafts first.
- Blocking applies only in the Chrome profile where TaskBound is installed.
- It does not block mobile apps, other browsers, operating-system apps, or unlisted domains.
- No browser extension can promise bypass-proof blocking or improved productivity.

Does TaskBound need my ClickUp account or API token?
No. TaskBound reads the task ID, title, and link when you open it on an official ClickUp task page or use its capture action. It does not use the ClickUp API or ask for a ClickUp login.
What does the website blocker block?
It blocks the domains you add, including their subdomains, only while a focus session is active. Pausing, stopping, or starting a break removes the rules.
Is TaskBound a free daily timer?
No. The trial includes three focus starts in total, with all version 1 features. After those three starts, each new focus session requires a successful online Pro license check.
Does TaskBound upload my tasks or focus history?
No. Captured task details, blocklist domains, timer state, and focus history stay in Chrome local extension storage. Only licensing data is sent to Dodo Payments for activation and verification.
Does it write time back to ClickUp?
No. Version 1 does not create, edit, or sync ClickUp time entries, tasks, comments, lists, or account data.
