1. The product

PDF Reference Linker is a document-production aid. It finds mapped labels in selectable PDF text, lets the user review matches, and writes selected internal page links to a separately downloaded PDF. Users remain responsible for checking every match, destination, and exported file before relying on or distributing it.

Version 1 accepts one unsigned, unencrypted PDF at a time, up to 50 MiB and 500 pages; up to 500 mappings entered manually or imported from internal bookmarks or a CSV with label and target_page columns; and up to 10,000 matches. Matching is exact whole-word text on one visual line, with a case-sensitivity option. Dense documents and large mapping sets may reach resource limits before the file/page ceilings; exact limits are listed on the support page. It does not include OCR, fuzzy matching, cross-line phrase matching, legal review, or document-remediation advice.

2. Free and paid access

The full match preview, review controls, and CSV match report are free. PDF Reference Linker Pro for version 1 costs EUR 49 once, tax included, and unlocks linked-PDF export. There is no recurring fee for version 1. A license has no expiry and may be active on up to three browser installations. Deactivate an installation before moving its activation to another browser.

Each paid export requires an online license check. If verification is unavailable or the license is inactive, preview and the match report remain available but linked-PDF export does not. A version 1 purchase does not promise future major versions, unlimited support, or other products. You may not share or resell a license key, bypass licensing, interfere with checks, or use the product unlawfully.

3. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing contact@kastovia.com from the purchase email address with the order reference. A full refund deactivates the license and paid export. Mandatory statutory cancellation, refund, and warranty rights remain unaffected.

4. Availability and output

Parsing and link placement depend on the PDF's text layer, coordinates, fonts, structure, browser, and device resources. Scanned, image-only, malformed, encrypted, signed, oversized, or unusually complex PDFs are unsupported. Existing signatures may be invalidated by modification, so signed PDFs are rejected. Text broken across visual lines or encoded unusually may not match.

The export uses standard internal PDF links, but rendering and interaction can vary between PDF viewers. PDF Reference Linker is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe, Acrobat, Bluebeam, Chrome, or Google. Chrome and other product names belong to their respective owners.

5. Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the product is provided “as is” and “as available” without a warranty that every reference will be found, every link will be correctly placed, every destination will be correct, or every viewer will render the result identically. Preserve the source file and review the export before publication or distribution.

To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from the paid product is limited to the amount paid for the affected license. This does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

6. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia without overriding mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Questions: contact@kastovia.com.
