These terms apply to PDF Duplicate Review, owned and licensed by Kastovia Holdings LLC. Kastovia remains the contractual counterparty for customers, support operator, Dodo Payments business, and privacy controller. The Chrome Web Store listing is intended to identify Oualid Youssfi as the individual publisher and distributor acting on behalf of Kastovia, subject to completion of Google profile verification. Identity verification remains in progress. This Store listing role does not transfer ownership or change those roles. Mandatory consumer rights that apply to you remain unaffected.
1. The product
PDF Duplicate Review is a local, read-only review aid. It identifies byte-identical files and PDFs whose extracted page text matches. It does not prove that documents are visually or legally identical. You are responsible for reviewing originals before deleting, relying on, disclosing, or acting on them.
The extension does not delete, rename, or rewrite PDFs and does not provide OCR, image comparison, records-management advice, legal advice, or a substitute for a document-retention process.
2. Free and paid access
The free plan supports up to 10 PDFs per batch. PDF Duplicate Review Pro for version 1 costs EUR 49 once, tax included, and supports up to 250 PDFs per batch. There is no recurring fee for version 1. A license has no expiry and may be active on up to three browser installations. Deactivate an installation before moving its activation to another browser.
Pro batches require an online license check. If verification is unavailable or a license is inactive, the free 10-PDF limit applies. A version 1 purchase does not promise free lifetime upgrades, future major versions, unlimited support, or other products. You may not share or resell a license key, bypass a plan limit, interfere with checks, or use the product unlawfully.
3. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing contact@kastovia.com from the purchase email address with the order reference. A full refund deactivates the license, after which the free 10-PDF limit applies. Mandatory statutory cancellation, refund, and warranty rights remain unaffected.
4. Availability and changes
PDF parsing depends on the source file, browser, and device resources. Password-protected, malformed, scanned, image-only, oversized, or unusually complex files may be skipped or reported as unreadable. Checkout and license verification require an internet connection.
Kastovia may change or discontinue the free plan, future sales, or future versions. A change does not convert a version 1 one-time purchase into a recurring subscription.
5. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the product is provided “as is” and “as available” without a warranty that every duplicate will be found, every PDF will parse, or every result will be error-free. Kastovia is not responsible for document deletion, missed differences, missed deadlines, retention decisions, or other actions taken based on the output.
To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from the paid product is limited to the amount paid for the affected license. This does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia without overriding mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Questions: contact@kastovia.com.
